This books is more about "follow your passion" without giving concrete evidence for what the successful mindsets are of the people we consider successful. A better book that tries to debunk the "follow your passion" approach is one titled "So Good They Can't Ignore You". The "follow your passion" statements (like this book), are of no real value. Real, focused work, and deliberate practice is what gets results. I was hoping this book would try and tackle the thought process of successful people who are putting in the deliberate practice. Instead, it is just the author's feeling on what that might be with no research to back it up. I was also hoping this book would give practical advice for setting goals. I should have read the small print subtitle that talks about looking at the quotes of others so you can think like a millionaire. There are better books than this.
