Once you have achieved a certain goal, gained another skill, or developed a certain area of your life, you naturally feel good about yourself. Hi Myrko, I had been on this personal development journey for a while myself and was curious about how OTHER people see personal development and their definition.
Without a millionaire mindset, you will remain stuck in a lower or middle-income reality. But, once you have developed a wealth mindset, you'll start to do the things you need to do to create more wealth in YOUR life.
Do Your Homework If you are considering this book because you want to make changes in your life read, Immunity to Change, by Lehay and Kegan, instead. Use the tools in their book, if you really want a system for improving negative thinking. Unlike this book it provides a system to get to the why you have negative thinking in the first place which allows for changes from that point. Negative thinking comes about as a protective device so affirmations alone won't change a system that while hindering you was set in place to help you. The author writes about the power of the subconscious and then states that repeating an affirmation 20 times for weeks will make that power accessible. I positivly doubt it. If I have an allergic reaction to shellfish no amount of affirming that I don't will change it. Shots or other ways of addressing the hyped up immunity might, but not affirmations. His encouragement to add "yet" to sentences when describing why something didn't work is probably the best part of the book. It keeps you open to trying something else. I encouage you to try something else instead of this book. Disclosure: I received this book without cost in exchange for my honest review.

Thanks, Kate. It is absolutely a requirement to attain and grow wealth. Leo Babauta always has great advice on building habits, and this is one of my favorites. The environment we try to build new habits in (or break old ones, even) has a huge effect on how successful we are. Environment in this case includes the people we spend time with and the messages we hear or tell ourselves, as well as our physical environment.
