I have read 100's of very poor books on the Success Principles, Self Esteem, Laws of Attraction, Planning, Time Management, Wealth creation etc, in the last few years. I started reading books about goal setting, mind control and success principles in 1985. I have used what I learnt from my extensive reading, coupled with academic qualifications in business economics, law, politics and psychology, to create a consulting company, teaching seminars to corporations in strategic thinking, leadership, marketing, goal setting, business development, motivation and personal development. I also use the principles to help individuals, by guiding them as a Peak Performance Coach, teaching people cognitive methods to help goal set and enhance their lives beyond what they could do on their own. As such, I read as many books as I can, on a variety of subjects to enhance my knowledge.

Personal-Development244 Most importantly, the book shows how mindset can actually predict how people take on challenges , learn, and deal with setbacks, The book shows how mindset affects many domains of life, including setting goals, reaching goals. One thing I think I would benefit from would be some additional exercises incorporating the growth mindset into my own life..! Great book..taught me a lot about people in general but has really helped me
The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business In terms of being positive, you could find a friend or family member to do this with to keep you accountable, or set a daily reminder so you don’t forget. Filling your work space with positive sayings or images could help, and reading books that encourage positive thinking will reinforce this.
You also have to take the appropriate actions to learn and stay motivated by looking at the big picture of why you have chosen to study what you have, and how it will benefit you in the long run.
